
It’s Back! Join CASA of Liberty and Chambers Counties for a captain’s dinner, giveaways, games of chance, and a salt water fishing tournament to benefit our work supporting children and families in crisis.

$400 each team of up to 4 anglers, or $100 for single participants

Your gift will help ensure abused and neglected children in Liberty and Chambers County, and their families, are supported by a trained court appointed advocate.
Tournament Rules
All Texas fishing and boating laws will apply. In addition, please exercise good stewardship of the environment and sportsmanship to fellow competitors.
1. Fishing will not start until 6:00 AM, you may be on your fishing location, but you can not start fishing until 6:00 AM.
2. Each boat is limited to no more than four anglers, including the Captain. You can also fish from a kayak.
3. All fish must be caught on a rod and reel. Artificial or live bait can be used.
4. Weigh Station will be open at 1:00 PM and close at 3:00 PM. You must be in the weigh in line at 3:00 PM to get your fish weighed. NO EXCEPTIONS. Decisions of judges will be final.
5. Fish will be measured in accordance with Texas Parks and Wildlife standards. Tails will be compressed to achieve maximum overall length.
6. In the event of a tie, the first fish/stringer weighed in will be declared the winner.
7. Tournament judges will determine a “Bad Weather Day”. Rescheduling of even due to inclement weather is not guaranteed. If the weather is determined to be dangerous on the day of the event, CASA of Liberty & Chambers Counties will make reasonable effort to reschedule at a later date. Please email info@casalctx.org with any weather related questions during the tournament hours. Up to date information related to event will be posted here or www.facebook.com/CASAOfLibertyChambersCounties. The tournament committee must responsibly consider multiple factors, beyond fishing conditions, in regards to potential cancelation and rescheduling.

8. A fish may only be entered in a single category. For example, if the fish is entered in the stringer category, it may not be re-used in the individual category, and etc.
9. All anglers must have a current Texas Fishing License.
10. Participants will NOT be allowed to consume alcoholic beverages while fishing in the tournament. You may bring your own alcoholic beverage during the weigh-in and dinner.
