Covestro extends help to CASA of Liberty/Chambers Counties

CASA of Liberty/Chambers Counties recently received a generous donation of food, household and personal supplies from Covestro following the area’s historic flooding. These items include non-perishable food items, diapers, flash light, fans, clothing and toiletries. While everyone suffers when their homes, cars and personal items are flooded, it is particularly difficult for foster children who are already living in temporary homes with few personal items. Covestro’s contribution to a stressful situation is truly appreciated.

CASA of Liberty/Chambers Counties advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the CPS court system through the training and support of community. The next scheduled training class begins Monday, October 9 through Thursday October 12 in Mont Belvieu, and a night class just began September 25, with availability for those interested.  For more information on training classes or becoming a CASA volunteer, please call Debbie Dugger at (936) 334-9000 or email ddugger@casalctx.org.
